Annual function in the memory of swami Tapovanam Mahraj and Swami Sundaranand Maharaj and establishment of Art Gallery ( T H Kala Deergha ) in Gangotri was held on 13th September 2024. In the morning hours Puja Archana Gurudev Maharaj was done. Then a Havan was done. Though it was raining continuously from last day but puja took place in time. After that a Bhandara was done .Entire Sadhu Samaj and all the panda samaj of Gangotri temple and other bhakt ganaai s participated. Trustees and bhaktas from Uttarkashi, Rishikesh, Dehradun, Delhi and even far away from Nainital and Prayagraj and Newsiland and villages nearby participated.

All were duly welcomed and yathochit Satkar and Dakshina was offered. Entire function was completed nicely. In addition two competitions were done for the students and young generation :

1. Debate competition on conservation of environment in Himalayas

2. Photography competition

Prizes and certificates were given to the winners

A concise book of Swami Ji’s biography has been written and was released on this day.

The function ended with group discussion amongst chief sadhus, Gangotri Purohits and important guests ,trust members and then evening prayer.
